The 20-PD is designed as a low-profile Portable Snowmelter allowing access to most multi-level parking structures.

Trecan has a number of small Snowmelters that are rented
each snow melting season.
The units are rented on a first-come-first-serve basis (deposit required) and have a minimum rental period of 4 months.

Trecan 60-PD Snowmelters have a draw bar towing arrangement.
The 60-PD is normally supplied with an 10' (3.05 m) wide melting tank,
but can be ordered with a narrow 8'-6" (2.6 m) wide tank, or an extra-wide tank with a 12' (3.7 m) opening.

Trecan has been awarded to design and build a couple of new 80-PD Snowmelters. One of our new 80-PD
Snowmelter is seen on the picture, before shipping to Russia.

Trecan now includes with models 60-PD through 500-PD an 'ease-to-use' operator video display.
This standard feature provides the operator with enhanced information while reducing the operational complexity.

All of our 100-Series Snowmelters include a walk-in engine room enclosure to aid in noise reduction, heat conservation and added security.
Other optional equipment include electric immersion heaters to prevent water from freezing between snow melting operations.
The 100-Series-PD and larger have a fifth-wheel towing arrangement.

The Trecan 350-PD features dual-side loading with a rated capacity of 350 tons/hr.
This unit has four Trecan Burners with stainless steel downcomers.

The Trecan 500-PD also features dual-side loading, but with a rated capacity of 500 tons/hr.

The photo shows one of five MetroMelt Snowmelters built for the City of Toronto.
These units were designed in conjunction with the City to meet their operational requirements.
The main feature, as can be seen in the photo, is the ability to self-propel and continuously self-load snow.
The melting capacity was designed at 150 tons/hr.
